A delegation from the Ministry of Education (MoE) led by Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Minister of Education is currently attending the ASIAN Summit on Education & Skills. The Summit is held on 2 - 4 October 2018 at JW Marriott Hotel, Aerocity New Delhi, India.
Deputy Minister of Education, Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh presented Brunei Darussalam's initiatives and best practices under the theme, "Educating for entrepreneurship, employment and future opportunities" during the Asian Summit of Education & Skills (ASES).
ASES 2018 is an annual event in Asia which brings together influential leaders, eminent educationists and others to share and deliberate on various issues of the education and skills sector focusing on industry academia partnerships, implementation of policies, technology advancements and challenges in the education sector. This summit is the Asian chapter of the annual Education World Forum in London.
The Deputy Minister of Education, presented on Brunei Darussalam's initiatives and best practices under the theme, "Educating for entrepreneurship, employment and future opportunities".
The two-day summit provides opportunity for policy-makers to discuss on education issues; form networking; and exchange information, ideas and best practices; that can lead to the development of effective new education strategies, adaptable to the needs and challenges of their own country.
Accompanying the Deputy Minister is His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Sidek bin Ali, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to India. Also attending are Dr Chin Wei Keh, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Education and officers from Ministry of Education and Brunei High Commission in India.
