Rationale
The Career Resource Centre, Ministry of Education will function as a One-Stop Centre for students, schools, college and university graduates. Information about tertiary education will be provided. For school leavers and graduates, the centre will help them understand themselves better and assist them in looking for jobs.
Objectives
- To seek job vacancies for job-seekers.
- To provide information to potential employers as to the types of school leavers and graduates available.
- To equip school leavers and graduates with job-seeking skills.
- To run short courses for job-seekers.
- To provide advisory services as regards to the various types of jobs and its prospect.
- To provide counselling services for job-seekers so as to make better career decisions.
- To help school leavers and graduates understand themselves better through the use of career interest inventory.
- To provide information on tertiary education, both at home and abroad.

Who Needs These Services?
1. Students
You may be able to seek guidance in area of career choice which is suitable in terms of your interest and potential.
2. Job-Seekers
You may be able to obtain information pertaining to various vacancies in the job market. Besides, you will be assisted in the task of finding a job.
3. Youths
You may seek out counselling and advice in the area of career and future planning.
4. Parents
You may be able to access information regarding the various jobs or careers available in the public as well as private sector. As such, you are better able to help your son or daughter in planning his or her career.

Pusat Sumber Kerjaya akan berfungsi sebagai “One Stop Center’ bagi para lulusan sekolah dan maktab dalam hal mencari kerja, mengenal diri secara dekat dan kaunseling kerjaya.
Objektif-Objektif
- Mencari pekerjaan bagi pencari kerja.
- Memberi maklumat kepada firma-firma tentang jenis tenaga lepasan sekolah institusi pengajian tinggi.
- Melengkapi pencari kerja dengan kemahiran mencari kerja.
- Mejlanakan kursus singkat untuk pencari kerja.
- Menyediakan khidmat nasihat tentang pelbagai jenis pekerjaan dan prospek.
- Menyediakan khidmat kaunseling untuk membantu pencari kerja membuat keputusan bijaksana.
- Membantu para lulusan mengenai diri secara dekat melalui inventori minat pekerjaan.
- Menyediakan maklumat pengajian tinggi bagi institusi tempatan dan seberang laut.

Pencari Kerja
Awda boleh mendapat maklumat tentang pelbagai jenis kerjaya di pasaran. Awda juga dibantu untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan.
Belia
Awda boleh dapat nasihat dan kaunseling dalam perancangan masa depan awda.
Ibu Bapa
Awda boleh mendapat maklumat tentang pelbagai jenis pekerjaan dalam pasaran dan dengfan itu dapat membantu anak membuat keputusan kerjaya yang bijaksana.
