Duties &
Responsibilities
Initiating formal communication between educational
institutions with various organizations, government and
non-government.
Planning and
organizing activities and programmes in science and
technology and related fields.
Provide avenues for
teachers to gain more experiences outside the school environment.
Recognizing
needs for new initiatives in Science, Technology and
Environment education and related fields.
Managing short
and long terms activities and programmes for students and
teachers.
Coordinating
international participation on activities and programmes
especially related to Science, Technology, Mathematics and
Environment education.
Establishing
cooperation with various organizations ( Government and
Non-Government - Business & Industrial Sectors and Relevant
Associations ) to run partnership activities and programmes
for students and teachers.
Overseeing
activities and programmes organized by professional
organizations which are related to Science, Technology,
Mathematics and Environment.
Conducting selection
processes for students and teachers who will represent Brunei
Darussalam at international activities and programmes.
Planning and
conducting activities for international programmes participation.
Evaluating
invitation to international programmes.
Developing and
accumulating ‘data base’ comprehensively, computerized and
accessible including information related to Science, Technology,
Mathematics and Environment from other countries.
