Entry Level Requirements |
| National
Vocational Certificate
(NVC) |
a)
Completion of Form 3 Secondary Education; OR
acceptable equivalent qualifications with relevant work experience; AND
b) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
National Trade Certificate Grade 3 (NTC3)
|
a)
Completion of Form 3 Secondary Education, OR
Acceptable equivalent qualifications with relevant work experience; AND
b) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
| National
Trade Certificate Grade 2 (NTC2) |
a) A pass
in NTC3 in the relevant programme, OR Acceptable equivalent qualifications; AND
b) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
| National Trade Certificate Grade 1 (NTC1) |
a) A pass
in NTC2 in the relevant programme, OR Acceptable equivalent qualifications,
b) One year work experience, AND
c) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
| Pre-National
Diploma (PND - 1 year) |
a)
Completion of secondary education to O level, or equivalent qualification, with 4 passes
in subjects relevant to the programme; OR
b) A pass in NTC2, including passes in
relevant Core Units; OR
c) Completion of secondary education to
N level, or equivalent qualification, with 4 passes at Grade 2 or above in subjects
relevant to the programme; AND
d) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
| Pre-National
Diploma
(PND - 1½ years) |
a) Completion of secondary education to N level, or
equivalent qualification with 4 passes at less than Grade 2 in subjects relevant to
the programme; AND
b) A pass in the institutional entrance
tests and interview where applicable. |
| National
Diploma (ND) |
a) A Pass
in the PND programme or equivalent; OR
b) Completion of secondary education to
O level, or equivalent qualification with 4 credits in subjects relevant to the programme;
OR
c) Completion of Form 5 education
with a minimum of 3 years work experience in relevant areas; AND
d) A pass in the institutional
entrance tests and interview where applicable. |
| National
Diploma (ND) in Nursing |
a) Four
relevant GCE ‘O’ Level credits or equivalent qualifications;
AND
b) Pass the College of Nursing
Proficiency Test in English; AND
c)
Be not more than thirty years old. |
| Higher
National Diploma (HND) |
a) At least
One Pass in a relevant subject at GCE ‘A’ Level
with Four relevant GCE ‘O’ Level credits, OR Completion of a National Diploma programme with
suitable level of Merits, OR acceptable
qualifications or experience gained which may be deemed
by ITB to satisfy entry requirements; AND
b) Demonstrate competence in numeracy and literacy in a written test and in an interview. |
