 Teaching Staff Structure of VTE Institution VTE institutions have the following categories of staffing, each with a different salary scale. The minimum qualifications and tasks of each category of instructor are given below. It should be noted that recruitment practice is such that people with relevant experience are given priority for appointment in each category.
Heads
of VTE institutions are mandated to allocate specific duties and responsibilities to all
categories of instructors depending on the needs of the institution. The Institute of Technology Brunei has different categories of lecturer, each with a different salary scale. The minimum qualifications and tasks of each category of lecturer at this level are given below:
