WORKING VISIT OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION DELEGATION TO THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
A delegation from the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam led by the Head of Delegation, the Permanent Secretary (Higher Education), Yang Mulia Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad are on a working visit to the Republic of Singapore from 28th September to 2nd October 2022. The purpose of the visit is to review schools and hostels for the placement for Brunei students under the Brunei-Singapore Youth Education Scholarship Programme.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the school and hostel and had the opportunity to see the facilities and services provided to the students. The visit provided the delegation with useful insights for the implementation of the scholarship programme.
Apart from the schools and hostels visits, the delegation also held a meeting with the Ministry of Education of Singapore to discuss matters related to the implementation of the Brunei-Singapore Youth Education Scholarship programme.
The signing of the Brunei-Singapore Youth Education Scholarship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Yang Berhormat Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Republic of Singapore on 24 August 2022 during the State Visit of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Singapore.

LAWATAN KERJA DELEGASI KEMENTERIAN PENDIDIKAN KE REPUBLIK SINGAPURA

Satu rombongan dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam yang diketuai oleh Setiausaha Tetap (Pengajian Tinggi), Yang Mulia Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad berada di Republik Singapura dari 28 September hingga 2 Oktober 2022 bagi mengadakan lawatan kerja yang bertujuan untuk meninjau secara lebih dekat beberapa buah sekolah dan asrama sebagai penempatan pelajar-pelajar dari Negara Brunei Darussalam di bawah Program Biasiswa Pendidikan Belia Brunei-Singapura.
Semasa program lawatan tersebut, delegasi Kementerian Pendidikan telah diberikan penerangan tentang sekolah dan asrama serta berkesempatan dibawa melihat kemudahan-kemudahan serta perkhidmatan yang disediakan kepada pelajar-pelajar. Lawatan tersebut telah memberikan delegasi maklumat yang berguna bagi perlaksanaan program Biasiswa Pendidikan Belia Brunei-Singapura.
Selain daripada mengadakan lawatan ke sekolah-sekolah dan asrama, delegasi Kementerian Pendidikan juga mengadakan perjumpaan dengan pihak Kementerian Pendidikan Singapura bagi membincangkan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan perlaksanaan program biasiswa berkenaan.
