REGIONAL CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
“HOLISTIC INTEGRATED EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE EDUCATION:
OUR HAPPY NEIGHBOURHOOD”

The Ministry of Education today held the Closing Ceremony for the Regional Capacity Development Program "Holistic Integrated Early Childhood Care Education: Our Happy Neighbourhood" at the Senate Room, Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
This four-day event, commencing on the 10th of June, was jointly organized by the Department of Schools through the Early Childhood Education Unit and the Department of Educators Management, Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam together with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), Indonesia.
Present as the Guest of Honour for the Closing Ceremony of the program was Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Marina Chek binti Bujang, Director of Schools, Ministry of Education.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech from the Guest of Honour. The event continued with a speech from Yang Mulia Professor Vina Adriany, Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, Indonesia, followed by a speech from the participant representative, Yang Mulia Haji Ahmad Rifaie bin Haji Abdul Malek, Preschool Teacher at Sekolah Rendah Pehin Dato Jamil. The presentation of participation certificates to 86 program participants and certificates of appreciation to 12 facilitators from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, and SEAMEO CECCEP, Indonesia, was completed by the Guest of Honour.
The program not only emphasized the importance of holistic and integrated early childhood education in shaping a bright future for the next generation, but it also showcased collaborative efforts to shift the paradigm of early childhood care and education, and introduced a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of children at the early stages of their development.

PROGRAM PERKEMBANGAN KAPASITI PUSAT SERANTAU

Kementerian Pendidikan pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Program Perkembangan Kapasiti Pusat Serantau "Holistic Integrated Early Childhood Care Education: Our Happy Neighbourhood" yang berlangsung di Bilik Senat, Dewan Canselor, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Majlis yang berlangsung selama empat (4) hari sejak 10 Jun yang lalu adalah anjuran bersama Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah melalui Unit Pendidikan Awal kanak-Kanak dan Jabatan Pengurusan Pendidik, Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam dengan Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), Indonesia.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi Majlis Penutup Program berkenaan ialah Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Marina Chek binti Bujang, Pengarah Sekolah-Sekolah, Kementerian Pendidikan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada Yang Mulia Profesor Vina Adriany, Pengarah SEAMEO CECCEP, Indonesia dan disusuli dengan ucapan daripada wakil peserta iaitu Yang Mulia Haji Ahmad Rifaie bin Haji Abdul Malek, Guru PraSekolah, Sekolah Rendah Pehin Dato Jamil. Penyampaian sijil penyertaan kepada 86 peserta program serta sijil penghargaan kepada 12 orang fasilitator dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi dan SEAMEO CECCEP, Indonesia disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat.
Program ini bukan sahaja menekankan pentingnya pendidikan awal kanak-kanak yang holistik dan bersepadu dalam membentuk masa depan yang cerah untuk generasi akan datang, malahan ianya juga telah memaparkan usaha bersama untuk mengubah paradigma penjagaan dan pendidikan awal kanak-kanak, serta memperkenalkan pendekatan yang menyeluruh dalam menangani keperluan kanak-kanak pada peringkat awal perkembangan mereka.
