GLOBAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT CONGRESS 2024
Bangkok, Thailand – Yang Mulia Professor Dr Haji Noor Azam bin Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Haji Othman, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Corporate) attended the Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) 2024, which was held from 10 June – 13 June 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
The congress was hosted by Times Higher Education (THE) in partnership with Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of the Kingdom of Thailand, and brought together around 3,000 thought leaders, investors and innovators.
Alongside a series of core tracks focused on practical solutions to the sustainability crisis, attendees also participated in sessions dedicated to discussing the transformations critical to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
During the congress, Yang Mulia Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Corporate) also had the opportunity to have a meeting with THE senior officials to discuss about future collaboration in the field of education.
Accompanying him were officers from Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

KONGRES PEMBANGUNAN MAMPAN GLOBAL 2024
Bangkok, Thailand – Yang Mulia Profesor Dr Haji Noor Azam bin Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Haji Othman, Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Korporat), Kementerian Pendidikan telah menghadiri Kongres Pembangunan Mampan Global (GSDC) 2024 yang diadakan mulai 10 Jun hingga 13 Jun 2024 bertempat di Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
Kongres berkenaan dihoskan oleh Times Higher Education (THE) dengan kerjasama Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi, Sains, Penyelidikan dan Inovasi, Thailand menghimpunkan sekitar 3,000 para pemimpin pemikir global, pelabur dan inovator.
Melalui beberapa aliran teras yang memfokuskan kepada penyelesaian praktikal terhadap krisis kemampanan, para hadirin berpeluang untuk membincangkan transformasi penting ke arah pencapaian Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs) Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu.
Semasa kongres berkenaan, Yang Mulia Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Korporat) turut berkesempatan untuk mengadakan perjumpaan bersama pegawai-pegawai kanan daripada pihak THE bagi membincangkan mengenai potensi kerjasama dalam bidang pendidikan di masa akan datang.
Mengiringi beliau adalah beberapa orang pegawai daripada Kementerian Pendidikan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
