ANGGEREK DESA – The Ministry of Education today held an Appreciation Ceremony and Presentation of Incentives for Sports Excellence (IKS) for the Contingent of Brunei Darussalam Schools Sports Council (MS SSBD) who participated in the 13th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG) held in Da Nang, Vietnam from 1 June 2024 to 9 June 2024. The ceremony took place at the Mulia Hotel and was organized by the Department of Co-Curriculum Education through MS SSBD.

Present as the Guest of Honour and presenting certificates of appreciation and excellence incentives to the contingent members was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

This appreciation was given to the contingent members, which included student-athletes, sports managers, coaches and officers who contributed and achieved commendable accomplishments throughout the ASG in Da Nang, Vietnam.

The objectives of the Appreciation and Excellence Incentive Presentation Ceremony (IKS) are to acknowledge student-athletes, team managers, coaches, and officers for their outstanding achievements in the tournament. It also serves as a motivation and inspiration for student-athletes and other students to actively participate in such tournaments.

Also in attendance at the event were Yang Mulia Permanent Secretary (Higher Education), Yang Mulia Acting Permanent Secretary (Core Education), Heads of Departments, and parents and guardians of the student-athletes.

ANGGEREK DESA – Kementerian Pendidikan pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Penghargaan dan Penyampaian Insentif Kecemerlangan Sukan (IKS) bagi Kontinjen Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Brunei Darussalam (MS SSBD) yang menyertai Kejohanan Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah ASEAN Ke-13 (ASEAN School Games-13, ASG13) bagi tahun 2024 yang diadakan di Da Nang, Vietnam yang lalu pada 1 Jun 2024 hingga 9 Jun 2024. Majlis berkenaan mengambil tempat di Hotel Mulia yang dikendalikan oleh Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum melalui MS SSBD.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat majlis dan seterusnya menyampaikan sijil penghargaan dan insentif kecemerlangan kepada para kontinjen ialah Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Penghargaan ini diberikan kepada ahli kontinjen iaitu para atlet-pelajar termasuk pengurus pasukan, jurulatih dan pegawai-pegawai yang telah memberi sumbangan dan berjaya mendapat pencapaian yang membanggakan sepanjang ASG di Da Nang, Vietnam yang lalu.

Antara tujuan Majlis Penghargaan dan Penyampaian Insentif Kecemerlangan Sukan (IKS) diadakan adalah untuk memberi penghargaan kepada atlet-pelajar, pengurus pasukan, jurulatih dan pegawai-pegawai di atas pencapaian cemerlang dalam kejohanan tersebut serta sebagai motivasi serta penyuntik semangat kepada para atlet-pelajar dan pelajar-pelajar lain untuk bergiat aktif dalam menyertai kejohanan-kejohanan seperti ini.

Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Setiausaha Tetap (Pengajian Tinggi), Yang Mulia Pemangku Setiausaha Tetap (Pendidikan Teras), Ketua-Ketua Jabatan, para ibu bapa dan penjaga atlet-pelajar.
