​FINAL STAGE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM NATIONAL SPELLING BEE COMPETITION 2023

BERAKAS - The Ministry of Education through the Arts and Creativity Division, Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with CfBT Brunei today held the final stage of the Brunei Darussalam National Spelling Bee Competition 2023 at the Press Conference Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC).

Present as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was was Yang Mulia Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat, Acting Director, Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

The competition which was opened for Year 1 to Year 11 students was participated by a total of 759 students, where 132 were selected to compete in the final stage today.

Among the purposes of the competition is to celebrate the achievement in English spelling among the students in Brunei Darussalam and to raise the prestige of the competition throughout the country.

Also attending were Heads of Departments and Senior Officers from the Ministry of Education.

PERINGKAT AKHIR BRUNEI DARUSSALAM NATIONAL SPELLING BEE COMPETITION 2023

Hari Selasa, 28 Sya'ban 1444H / 21 Mac 2023M

 

BERAKAS – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Bahagian Kesenian dan Kreativiti, Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum dengan kerjasama CfBT Brunei telah mengadakan peringkat akhir Brunei Darussalam National Spelling Bee Competition 2023 di Dewan Press Conference, Pusat Persidangan Antarabangsa Brunei (ICC).

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat di majlis tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad / Mohamat, Pemangku Pengarah, Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum, Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.


Seramai 759 peserta telah menyertai pertandingan berkenaan dan 132 orang peserta terpilih untuk bertanding di peringkat akhir pada hari ini yang telah dibukakan bagi murid-murid dan pelajar-pelajar tahun 1 hingga tahun 11.

Antara tujuan pertandingan tersebut adalah untuk meraikan pencapaian ejaan dalam bahasa Inggeris di kalangan kanak-kanak Negara Brunei Darussalam dan untuk menaikkan martabat pertandingan ke seluruh negara.

Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Ketua-Ketua Jabatan dan pegawai-pegawai kanan di Kementerian Pendidikan.
