SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF HIGHER EDUCATION BETWEEN THE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION, THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKIYE, AND THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION BRUNEI DARUSSALAM.

ANKARA, REPUBLIC OF TÜRKIYE – The Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye today signed the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam State Visit to the Republic of Türkiye from 6 until 9 March 2023.

During the ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency witnessed the Signing of five agreements between the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye.
Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam while the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye was represented by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, The President of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to provide a framework to promote cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research in the spirit of improving and strengthening understanding in all areas of interest to Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Türkiye.
PENANDATANGANAN MEMORANDUM PERSEFAHAMAN DI ANTARA MAJLIS PENGAJIAN TINGGI REPUBLIK TÜRKIYE DAN KEMENTERIAN PENDIDIKAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM MENGENAI KERJASAMA DALAM BIDANG PENGAJIAN TINGGI
Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Majlis Pengajian Tinggi Republik Türkiye, hari ini menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman dalam bidang pengajian tinggi bersempena dengan Lawatan Negara Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam ke Republik Türkiye dari 6 hingga 9 Mac 2023.
Pada majlis tersebut, Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia dan Tuan Yang Terutama menyaksikan Majlis Penandatangan bagi lima dokumen perjanjian di antara Kerajaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dengan Kerajaan Republik Türkiye.
Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman berkenaan bagi pihak Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam ialah Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam manakala Majlis Pengajian Tinggi Republik Türkiye diwakili oleh Tuan Yang Terutama Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Presiden Majlis Pengajian Tinggi Republik Türkiye.
Memorandum Persefahaman ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan rangka kerja atau framework bagi menggalakkan kerjasama dalam bidang pengajian tinggi dan penyelidikan saintifik dalam semangat meningkatkan dan mengukuhkan persefahaman dalam semua bidang berkepentingan bagi Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Türkiye.
