Description
​The Department of Planning and Estate Management is a technical department responsible in the construction, maintenance and management of physical assets belonging to the Ministry of Education

Functions

Asset Maintenance​

Management of building and facility maintenance programs for educational institutions, offices, and housing, towards ensuring a safe and conducive educational and residential environment.​

Planning

Asset planning management for the Ministry of Education to ensure sustainable and economical decision with maximum returns to the government​

Undertake review of previous development plans towards ensuring that previous planning is still relevant to the current needs of the Ministry of Education.

​Finance

Financial management to ensure that the Department’s project financing is in line with initial plan, and complies with the Financial Regulations.

​​Development

The management of development programs under the National Development Plan towards ensuring adequate educational infrastructure in accordance with the current needs.
