FULL REHEARSAL FOR THE 36TH BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION 2026

BERAKAS – The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs this morning held a full rehearsal at the International Convention Centre (ICC) to oversee final preparations for the 36th Brunei Darussalam Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026.

Present to observe the full rehearsal were Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education.

Also present during the rehearsal was Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Deputy Minister of Education.

The 36th Brunei Darussalam Teachers’ Day Celebration will be held on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. This year’s celebration carries the theme ‘Teachers as Catalysts for Sustainable Education and Innovation’,with the sub-theme ‘Educating with Wisdom, Guiding a Harmonious and Innovative Generation’.

The highlight of the Teachers’ Day Celebration is the presentation of the Teachers’ Day Awards, held to honor the contributions and dedication of educators across the nation. The celebration is held alongside the Teachers’ Day Exhibition, centered around the theme ‘Educating with Wisdom, Guiding a Harmonious and Innovative Generation’.

The rehearsal was also attended by the Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education, as well as members of the Executive Committee for the 36th Brunei Darussalam Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026. In this regard, a special holiday in conjunction with the 36th Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 will be given to all schools in Brunei Darussalam, including higher education institutions under the purview of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, on Wednesday, 23 September 2026

RAPTAI PENUH MAJLIS SAMBUTAN HARI GURU

NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM KE-36, TAHUN 2026

BERAKAS – Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama pada pagi ini telah mengadakan Raptai Penuh di Pusat Persidangan Antarabangsa (ICC) bagi memastikan kelancaran Majlis Sambutan Hari Guru Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-36, Tahun 2026.

Hadir bagi menyaksikan raptai penuh berkenaan ialah Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Menteri Hal Ehwal Ugama dan Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan.

Turut hadir semasa raptai tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Timbalan Menteri Pendidikan.

Majlis Sambutan Hari Guru Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-36 akan diadakan pada hari Rabu, 23 September 2026 bertempat di Dewan Plenary, Pusat Persidangan Antarabangsa (ICC), Berakas. Sambutan tahun ini membawa tema ‘Guru Pemangkin Pendidikan Lestari dan Inovasi’ dengan subtema ‘Mendidik dengan Hikmah, Membimbing Generasi Harmoni dan Berinovatif’.

Seperti lazimnya, acara kemuncak Sambutan Hari Guru ialah pengurniaan Anugerah-Anugerah Hari Guru sebagai penghargaan atas sumbangan dan jasa para pendidik di negara ini. Sambutan tersebut turut diselajurkan dengan Pameran Hari Guru yang bertemakan ‘Mendidik dengan Hikmah, Membimbing Generasi Harmoni dan Berinovatif’.

Raptai juga turut dihadiri oleh Setiausaha-Setiausaha Tetap dan Timbalan-Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap di Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama dan Kementerian Pendidikan serta Ahli-Ahli Jawatankuasa Tertinggi Majlis Sambutan Hari Guru Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-36, Tahun 2026. Sehubungan dengan itu, Cuti Khas sempena Sambutan Hari Guru Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-36, Tahun 2026 akan diberikan kepada semua sekolah di Negara Brunei Darussalam, termasuk institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi di bawah kawalan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama iaitu pada hari Rabu, 23 September 2026.
