About Us

The Department of Educator Management plays an important role in supporting the Ministry of Education Strategic Plan 2023-2027, Goal 3: Build Up Human Resources.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Implementation in planning and management of School Leaders, teachers, and Education Specialists through four (4) main domains:

  • Selection and Recruitment
  • Placement and Redeployment
  • Career Development
  • Retirement & Exit

2. Strengthening collaboration and strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders related to educator affairs.

3. Coordinating with relevant agencies to assess competencies and drive improvements among educators​

Objectives
  • Transforming human resource policies and management strategies through a high-quality, effective, and comprehensive system.
  • Optimizing and enhancing educators’ competencies by providing high-quality and strategic capacity-building programs.
  • Strengthening accountability with relevant stakeholders to foster a culture of shared responsibility and build trust​

Functions

1.     Human Resource Management:

Provides comprehensives, efficient, and systematic management and services for human resources. 

2.     Professional Development Program:

Offers training adn programs based on competency analysis.

3.     Educators Development and Career Pathway Plan:

Develops structured career development and progression plans for school leaders, teaching staff, and education specialists.

4.     Competency Enhancement Management System

Implements a system to enhance teachers’ skills and knowledge, advancing them to professional and expert levels.

5.     Selection and Recruitment Process:

Recruits high-quality educators through a more efficient selection and recruitment policy, ensuring teacher placement is aligned with school needs and priorities.

6.     Educator Management System:

Provides a structured and systematic system for managing educator profiles.

7.     Professional Collaboration:

Strengthens collaboration with stakeholders to enhance the quality and holistic nature of teaching and learning.
