​THE CLOSING CEREMONY AND CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION

FIRST AID COURSE FOR THE RED CRESCENT CADET TEAM SUPERVISORS

IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

Wednesday, 29 Sya'aban 1444H / 22 March 2023M

 

GADONG - The Ministry of Education through the Uniformed and Services Division, Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with the Red Crescent Society (PBSM) held the Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for First Aid Course for the Supervisors of the Brunei Darussalam Secondary Schools and Colleges Red Crescent Cadet Team. The ceremony was held today at the Brunei Red Crescent Knowledge Hub, Annajat Complex, Jalan Mata-Mata, Kampong Beribi, Gadong.

Present as the Guest of Honour at the closing ceremony and presenting the certificate of participation was Yang Mulia Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad / Mohamat, Acting Director of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

The annual course was held for for five days from 16 to 22 March 2023 and was attended by a total of 30 supervising teachers of the Red Crescent Cadet Team from 12 secondary schools and government colleges.

Among the purposes of the course was to give certification and skills to the Supervising Teachers of the Red Crescent Cadet Team as a volunteer in handling emergency first aid. The course was also intended to provide initial exposure to existing and newly appointed supervising teachers on how to conduct basic first aid in their respective schools as well as to emphasise the values taught in the course.

MAJLIS PENUTUP DAN PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL KURSUS PERTOLONGAN CEMAS

BAGI GURU PENGAWAS PASUKAN KADET BULAN SABIT MERAH

SEKOLAH-SEKOLAH MENENGAH DAN MAKTAB NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

GADONG – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Bahagian Beruniform dan Perkhidmatan, Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum dengan kerjasama Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah (PBSM) pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup dan Penyampaian Sijil Kursus Pertolongan Cemas bagi Guru Pengawas Pasukan Kadet Bulan Sabit Merah Sekolah-Sekolah Menengah Negara Brunei Darussalam di Brunei Red Crescent Knowledge Hub, Kompleks Annajat, Jalan Mata-Mata, Kampong Beribi, Gadong.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat di majlis penutup tersebut dan seterusnya menyampaikan sijil penyertaan ialah Yang Mulia Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad / Mohamat, Pemangku Pengarah Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum, Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Kursus yang diadakan secara tahunan tersebut telah berlangsung selama lima hari bermula 16 hingga 22 Mac 2023 dan telah disertai oleh seramai 30 orang guru pengawas pasukan Kadet Bulan Sabit Merah daripada 12 buah sekolah menengah dan maktab kerajaan.

Antara tujuan kursus berkenaan diadakan adalah untuk memberikan pengiktirafan dan kemahiran khusus kepada Guru-Guru Pengawas Pasukan Kadet Bulan Sabit Merah sebagai seorang sukarelawan dalam pengendalian pertolongan awal kecemasan. Kursus juga dihasratkan dapat memberikan pendedahan awal kepada guru-guru pengawas yang sedia ada dan yang baru dilantik mengenai cara pengendalian asas pertolongan cemas di sekolah masing-masing serta untuk menitikberatkan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam kursus.
