Salleh, Minister of Education Brunei Darussalam received a courtesy call from Yang Berhormat
Fadhlina binti Sidek, Minister of Education Malaysia, at the Rizqun International Hotel.
As part of her ASEAN Visit 2024, Yang Berhormat Minister of Education Malaysia arrived in
Bandar Seri Begawan for a one-day working visit to Brunei Darussalam to discuss key
educational matters and to explore opportunities to further enhance efforts in the
development of the Malay Language.

During her visit, Yang Berhormat Minister of Education Malaysia also had the opportunity to
tour several educational institutions, including the Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teacher
Academy (BDLTA), the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) School of Aviation (SSRC
Branch), as well as the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP), Ministry of Culture, Youth and
Sports.
Both sides expressed their hope for continued collaboration particularly in advancing
educational initiatives, enhancing the Malay Language, and fostering closer ties between the
two countries in the field of education.
