BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education Brunei Darussalam received a courtesy call from Yang Berhormat Fadhlina binti Sidek, Minister of Education Malaysia, at the Rizqun International Hotel.

As part of her ASEAN Visit 2024, Yang Berhormat Minister of Education Malaysia arrived in Bandar Seri Begawan for a one-day working visit to Brunei Darussalam to discuss key educational matters and to explore opportunities to further enhance efforts in the development of the Malay Language.

During her visit, Yang Berhormat Minister of Education Malaysia also had the opportunity to tour several educational institutions, including the Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teacher Academy (BDLTA), the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) School of Aviation (SSRC Branch), as well as the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Both sides expressed their hope for continued collaboration particularly in advancing educational initiatives, enhancing the Malay Language, and fostering closer ties between the two countries in the field of education.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan Negara Brunei Darussalam menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Yang Berhormat Fadhlina binti Sidek, Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia, di Rizqun International Hotel.

Sebagai sebahagian daripada Lawatan ASEAN 2024, Yang Berhormat Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia tiba di Bandar Seri Begawan untuk lawatan kerja selama satu hari ke Negara Brunei Darussalam bagi membincangkan hal-hal pendidikan yang utama dan meneroka peluang untuk memperkukuhkan usaha dalam mengembangkan Bahasa Melayu.

Sepanjang lawatannya, Yang Berhormat Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia turut berkesempatan melawat beberapa institusi pendidikan, termasuk Akademi Kepimpinan dan Guru Brunei Darussalam (BDLTA), Sekolah Penerbangan (Cawangan SSRC) Institut Pendidikan Teknikal Brunei (IBTE), serta Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), Kementerian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan.

Kedua-dua belah pihak menyatakan harapan untuk meneruskan kerjasama, khususnya dalam memajukan inisiatif pendidikan, memperkasa Bahasa Melayu, serta memupuk hubungan yang lebih erat antara kedua-dua negara dalam bidang pendidikan.
