MINISTRY OF EDUCATION HOSTS MEDALS OF HONOR (PINGAT KERJA LAMA) PRESENTATION CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS MAJESTY SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MU'IZZADDIN WADDAULAH IBNI AL-MARHUM SULTAN HAJI OMAR 'ALI SAIFUDDIEN SA'ADUL KHAIRI WADDIEN SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM'S 78TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

TUNGKU – The Ministry of Education through the Department of Administration and Services today hosted a presentation ceremony for the recipient of the Long Service Medals (Pingat Kerja Lama) award in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 78th birthday celebration for the year 2024 to officers and staff of the Ministry of Education at The Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Present as the Guest of Honor was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Special Prayer for Health and Well-being, led by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Rozaidi bin Haji Mohammad Daud, Senior Education Officer, Internal Audit Unit, Ministry of Education.
This ceremony continued with the presentation of the Long Service Medal (Pingat Kerja Lama) to 283 officers and staff from the Ministry of Education, including educators from schools and higher education institutions by the Guest of Honor. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the Doa Selamat and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the return of the hajj pilgrims from the Ministry of Education.
The awarding of the Long Service Medal (Pingat Kerja Lama) is in recognition and appreciation from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the services and contributions that have been given throughout the career of the medal recipients. The medal award also serves to motivate and boost the moral of the Ministry's personnel to consistently uphold high standards of work quality and to strive for continuous excellence in performance.
Also present were the Permanent Secretaries, Vice Chancellors, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and officers from the Ministry of Education.

BAGI KEMENTERIAN PENDIDIKAN DAN JABATAN-JABATAN DI BAWAHNYA

TUNGKU – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Jabatan Pentadbiran dan Perkhidmatan-Perkhidmatan, pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Pingat Kerja Lama (P.K.L.) sempena Hari Keputeraan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-78 Tahun bagi penerima Tahun 2024 khusus kepada pegawai-pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Jabatan-Jabatan di bawahnya, bertempat di Dewan Canselor, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah serta Doa Khas Kesihatan dan Kesejahteraan yang dipimpin oleh Yang Mulia Awang Haji Rozaidi bin Haji Mohammad Daud, Pegawai Pelajaran Kanan, Unit Audit Dalaman, Kementerian Pendidikan.
Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian Pingat Kerja Lama (P.K.L.) kepada 283 orang pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pendidikan, termasuk tenaga pengajar dari sekolah-sekolah serta institusi-institusi pengajian tinggi yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis kemudiannya diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, diikuti dengan Doa Kesyukuran sempena kepulangan para jemaah haji Kementerian Pendidikan.
Pengurniaan Pingat Kerja Lama ini adalah sebagai pengiktirafan dan penghargaan dari Kerajaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam atas jasa dan sumbangan kerja yang telah diberikan sepanjang perkhidmatan para penerima pingat. Pengurniaan pingat ini juga merupakan satu dorongan motivasi dan penyuntik semangat khususnya kepada warga Kementerian ini agar sentiasa memberikan kualiti kerja yang bermutu tinggi dan mencapai prestasi yang cemerlang secara berterusan.
Turut hadir semasa majlis hari ini ialah Setiausaha-Setiausaha Tetap, Naib-Naib Canselor, Timbalan-Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Ketua-Ketua Jabatan dan pegawai-pegawai dari Kementerian Pendidikan.
