DISTRIBUTION OF MINIATURE TABLE FLAGS CEREMONY AND
'SEMARAK PENGIBARAN BENDERA' PROGRAMME IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRUNEI DARUSSALAM'S
42nd NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION 2026

BERAKAS - The Ministry of Education through the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Department of Schools and the Private Education Department, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports, today held the Distribution Of Miniature Table Flags Ceremony and the 'Semarak Pengibaran Bendera' Programme for primary schools, secondary schools, and higher education institutions in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day Celebration 2026.
This event was held simultaneously across all four districts, aiming to instill a sense of affection and patriotism among students in conjunction with the National Day Celebration. A total of 2,000 miniature table flags were distributed to participants comprising teachers and students who will be involved in the Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day Celebration 2026.
The main focus of the event was held at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Girls' Arabic Religious School. Present as the Guest of Honour for the event was the Honorable Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengerang Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. A total of 1000 small table flags were distributed. Also present were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and senior officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The same ceremony was also held in Belait District at Muhammad Alam Seria Primary School. Present as the Guest of Honour and then officiating the distribution of 300 small table flags was Yang Berhormat Awang Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @Lim Swee Ann, Member of the Legislative Council. While present as the Guest of Honour and then officiating the distribution of 500 small table flags for the Tutong District which took place at Chung Hwa School Tutong was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @Tekpin bin Ya'akub, Member of the Legislative Council.
In Temburong District, the ceremony was held at Sultan Hassan Secondary School, Temburong. Present as the Guest of Honour and officiating the distribution of the small table flags was Yang Berhormat Awang Hj Sulaiman hin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council. A total of 200 small flags were distributed.

MAJLIS PENGAGIHAN BENDERA KECIL MEJA DAN PROGRAM SEMARAK PENGIBARAN BENDERA
SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI KEBANGSAAN KE-42, TAHUN 2026

BERAKAS - Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum, Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah dan Jabatan Pendidikan Swasta dengan kerjasama Jabatan Pengajian Islam, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama serta Kementerian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Pengagihan Bendera Kecil Meja dan Program Semarak Pengibaran Bendera bagi sekolah rendah, sekolah menengah dan institusi pengajian tinggi sempena Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-42, Tahun 2026.
Majlis ini diadakan serentak di keempat-empat daerah dan bertujuan untuk menyemai rasa kecintaan serta semangat patriotisme di kalangan pelajar bersempena Sambutan Ulang Tahun Hari Kebangsaan. Sebanyak 2,000 bendera kecil meja telah diagihkan kepada para peserta yang terdiri daripada guru dan pelajar yang terlibat akan dalam Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-42, Tahun 2026.
Tumpuan utama bagi majlis ini berlangsung di Sekolah Ugama Arab Menengah Perempuan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi majlis berkenaan ialah Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Menteri Hal Ehwal Ugama. Sebanyak 1000 batang bendera kecil meja telah diagihkan.
Majlis yang sama juga diadakan di Daerah Belait bertempat di Sekolah Rendah Muhammad Alam Seria. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan seterusnya menyempurnakan pengagihan bendera kecil meja sebanyak 300 batang ialah Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @Lim Swee Ann, Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Negara. Manakala hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan seterusnya menyempurnakan pengagihan bendera kecil meja sebanyak 500 batang bagi Dearah Tutong yang belangsung di Sekolah Chung Hwa Tutong ialah Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @Tekpin bin Ya'akub, Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Negara.
Di Daerah Temburong, majlis diadakan di Sekolah Menengah Sultan Hassan, Temburong. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan menyempurnakan pengagihan bendera kecil meja berkenaan ialah Yang Berhormat Awang Hj Sulaiman hin Haji Nasir, Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Negara. Sebanyak 200 batang bendera kecil telah diagihkan.
