CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 5^TH SPIRITUAL VILLAGE

FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND SIXTH FORM CENTRES NATIONWIDE 1447/2026

KIARONG – The Ministry of Education through the Spiritual Activities Division, Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with the Syababurroja’ Youth Group of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah (@syababurroja), held today the Closing Ceremony for the 5th Spiritual Village for Secondary Schools, Colleges and Sixth Form Centres Nationwide for the Year 1447/2026 at the Lecture Hall, Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, which was held over a period of 3 days, from 13 to 15 February 2026.

Present as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Yang Mulia Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Corporate), Ministry of Education.

A total of 94 participants, comprising male and female students from secondary schools, colleges and form six centres representing 13 government and private schools, took part in the Spiritual Village organised annually by the Department of Co-Curriculum Education. Among the activities conducted during the Spiritual Village are community service, team-building activities, and motivational talks.

Among the objectives of the camp were to educate students in appreciating and practising Islamic values in daily life, while also fostering a stronger sense of national pride and patriotism. The programme was also intended to encourage students to step forward confidently to share their knowledge, experiences and skills more effectively.

MAJLIS PENUTUP PERKAMPUNGAN ROHANI

SEKOLAH-SEKOLAH MENENGAH, MAKTAB DAN PUSAT TINGKATAN ENAM SENEGARA

KALI KE-5 TAHUN 1447/2026

KIARONG – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Bahagian Kegiatan Kerohanian, Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum dengan kerjasama Kumpulan Belia Syababurroja’ Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah @syababurroja pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup bagi Perkampungan Rohani Sekolah-Sekolah Menengah, Maktab dan Pusat Tingkatan Enam Senegara Kali Ke-5 Tahun 1447/2026 bertempat di Dewan Kuliah, Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong. Perkampungan Rohani berkenaan telah diadakan selama 3 hari iaitu 13 hingga 15 Februari 2026.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat di majlis penutup tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu, Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Korporat), Kementerian Pendidikan.

Seramai 94 orang peserta terdiri daripada pelajar lelaki dan perempuan dari sekolah menengah, maktab serta pusat tingkatan enam daripada 13 buah sekolah kerajaan dan swasta telah menyertai Perkampungan Rohani anjuran Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum yang dikendalikan setiap tahun. Antara aktiviti-aktiviti yang dikendalikan semasa Perkampungan Rohani tersebut adalah khidmat kemasyarakatan, aktiviti kerja berpasukan, dan ceramah motivasi.

Antara objektif perkampungan berkenaan adalah untuk mendidik para pelajar agar menghayati amalan kehidupan Islami di samping menanam semangat kebangsaan dan patriotisme yang lebih kukuh dalam diri mereka. Program ini juga dihasratkan dapat menggalakkan para pelajar untuk tampil ke hadapan dalam berkongsi ilmu, pengalaman dan kemahiran secara lebih yakin dan berkesan.
