MINISTRY OF EDUCATION BERTADARUS CEREMONY

IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MONTH OF RAMADAN FOR THE YEAR 1447/2026

KG. MATA-MATA – The Ministry of Education through the Department of Co-Curriculum Education, the Department of Special Education and the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center (EIC) today held a Bertadarus Ceremony in conjunction with the month of Ramadan at the Perpindahan Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong Mosque.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Eduaction) at the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

The event commenced with a mass Zohor prayer, followed by the presentation of wakaf contributions from the Ministry of Education by the Guest of Honour to Yang Mulia Muhammad Nur Adib bin Haji Abdul Manaf, Mosque Affairs Officer, Chief Imam of the Perpindahan Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong Mosque. The event continued with the Bertadarus Ceremony and concluded with the recital of a doa to bless the event led by the imam of the mosque.

This event is one of the annual activities organised by the Ministry of Education and its departments, aimed at enlivening the month of Ramadan while seeking blessing from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. The event also serves as a platform to strengthen faith and peity, enhance the practice of worship as well as to foster closer ties among the officials and staff of the Ministry of Education. In addition, this event reflects support for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's aspiration to establish Brunei Darussalam as a Zikir Nation towards Baldatun Thayyibatun Warabbunghafur.

Also present during the event were head of departments, senior officials, officers and staff of the Ministry of Education as well as residents from the surrounding villages.

MAJLIS BERTADARUS KEMENTERIAN PENDIDIKAN SEMPENA BULAN RAMADAN

TAHUN 1447H/2026M

KG. MATA-MATA – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum, Jabatan Pendidikan Khas dan Pusat Keusahawanan Inovasi pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Bertadarus sempena bulan Ramadan yang berlangsung di Masjid Perpindahan Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Pendidikan Teras), Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Majlis dimulakan dengan sembahyang fardhu Zohor berjemaah, diikuti dengan penyampaian sumbangan wakaf daripada Kementerian Pendidikan yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat kepada Yang Mulia Muhammad Nur Adib bin Haji Abdul Manaf, Pegawai Hal Ehwal Masjid, Ketua Imam Masjid Perpindahan Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong. Selepas itu, acara diikuti dengan Majlis Bertadarus dan diakhiri dengan bacaan doa bagi memberkati majlis yang diketuai oleh imam masjid.

Majlis seumpama ini merupakan salah satu aktiviti tahunan Kementerian Pendidikan beserta jabatan-jabatan di bawahnya yang bertujuan menyemarakkan bulan Ramadan serta memohon keberkatan, keredaan dan rahmat daripada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Majlis ini juga menjadi wadah untuk meningkatkan keimanan dan ketakwaan, memperkukuh amalan ibadah serta mengeratkan silaturahim dalam kalangan pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pendidikan. Di samping itu, majlis ini turut menyahut hasrat Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam untuk menjadikan Negara Brunei Darussalam sebagai sebuah Negara Zikir ke arah Baldatun Thayyibatun Warabbunghafur.

Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah ketua-ketua jabatan, pegawai-pegawai kanan, pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pendidikan, serta penduduk kampung sekitarnya.
