SEP4CHOOL & STUDENT CAMP SONGKHLA, THAILAND

BERAKAS – The Ministry of Education Brunei Darussalam has coordinated Brunei Darussalam's participation in the SEP4School and SEP Student Camp programmes, organised by the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability (SEPS).

The five-day programmes will take place concurrently in Songkhla, Thailand from 31 March to 4 April 2026, bringing together students, teachers, and school principals from SEAMEO member countries, as well as from the People's Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to the delegation was Yang Mulia Dr. Eddy Fazlin bin Haji Amdan, Acting Director of Schools, Department of Schools, Ministry of Education.
Representing Brunei Darussalam, the Ministry of Education has sent a delegation of six participants from Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Saadatul Bolkiah, Lumut comprising four students, one accompanying teacher and the school's principal.

With the theme “Cultural Heritage and Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP): Inclusive Growth, Resilience and Community Well-Being," the SEP4School and Student Camp serves as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, leadership development, and meaningful youth engagement in cultural heritage and sustainability issues. By integrating the principles of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) with practical climate action strategies, the programme aims to foster long-term change and build a strong culture of sustainability within school communities.

Through this programme, participants are expected to return equipped with new knowledge, practical skills, and renewed commitment to fostering sustainable thinking within their respective institutions. In addition to enhancing knowledge, the programme encourages global citizenship, promotes cross-cultural collaboration, and nurtures international friendships among students from diverse backgrounds.
Also present were officers from the Ministry of Education, representing the Department of Schools, and the Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre (EIC), as well as parents and family members of the participating students.

BERAKAS – Kementerian Pendidikan, Negara Brunei Darussalam telah menyelaraskan penyertaan Negara Brunei Darussalam dalam program SEP4School dan SEP Student Camp yang dianjurkan oleh SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability (SEPS).
Kedua-dua program ini akan dilaksanakan secara serentak di Songkhla, Thailand selama lima hari, bermula dari 31 Mac hingga 4 April 2026. Program ini menghimpunkan pelajar, guru serta pengetua sekolah dari negara-negara ahli SEAMEO, termasuk Republik Rakyat China, Jepun dan Republik Korea.
Hadir di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Brunei untuk mengucapkan selamat belayar kepada para delegasi ialah Yang Mulia Dr. Eddy Fazlin bin Haji Amdan, Pemangku Pengarah Sekolah-Sekolah, Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah, Kementerian Pendidikan.
Bagi mewakili Negara Brunei Darussalam, Kementerian Pendidikan telah menghantar enam orang delegasi dari Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Saadatul Bolkiah, Lumut yang terdiri daripada empat orang pelajar, seorang guru pengiring dan pengetua sekolah berkenaan.
Bertemakan “Cultural Heritage and Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP): Inclusive Growth, Resilience and Community Well-Being," program ini berperanan sebagai platform dinamik bagi pertukaran ilmu, pembangunan kepimpinan serta penglibatan belia dalam isu warisan budaya dan kelestarian. Melalui mengintegrasikan prinsip Falsafah Ekonomi Mampan dengan amalan tindakan iklim yang praktikal, program ini turut bertujuan memperkukuh budaya kelestarian dalam komuniti sekolah.
Melalui program ini, para peserta dijangka pulang dengan ilmu baharu, kemahiran praktikal serta semangat yang diperbaharui untuk menerapkan pemikiran lestari di institusi masing-masing. Di samping memperluas pengetahuan, program ini turut memupuk nilai kewarganegaraan global, menggalakkan kerjasama rentas negara serta membina jaringan persahabatan dalam kalangan pelajar daripada pelbagai latar belakang budaya dan negara.
Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai Kementerian Pendidikan dari Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah dan Pusat Keusahawanan Inovasi (EIC), serta ibu bapa dan ahli keluarga pelajar.
