PETRONAS Carigali Brunei Ltd (PCBL), a subsidiary of PETRONAS has successfully launched the PETRONAS School of Life programme at the Radisson Hotel, in Bandar Seri Begawan. The programme, sponsored by PCBL and conducted by Curious Mind, is part of PCBL's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to educate the youth of Brunei on essential life skills beyond the classroom. The launch event was officiated by Minister of Education Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman. Also in attendance was Yang Mulia Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Minister of Education.
PCBL Country Head, Mohamad Othman Said: "PETRONAS School of Life is a programme designed to provide the essential life skills training to the youth in Brunei to prepare them for future employability, equip for an unpredictable world and inspire them to achieve for future success in life. We believe that helping the youth to be employable is only the first step. We want to help them cultivate the necessary mindset to succeed in life in a holistic manner."

The School of Life programme will commence on 4 June 2021 to 22 October 2021.The programme consists of 20 topics, divided into five key modules which include: Mindset, Career, Entrepreneurship, Communications, and Success. Each session will feature an interview with an industry expert, locally or abroad for them to share their knowledge, skills and experience to empower the students with greater self-esteem and social-emotional skills which are vital to pave their way ahead as future leaders.
The sessions facilitated by Curious Mind's founder Shaun Hoon will be conducted at PCBL's office in Bandar Seri Begawan which can accommodate up to 50 people. If you wish to learn more about the programme, please visit at http://curiousmind.biz/psol
PCBL was established in 2011 to carry out exploration related activities in Brunei's deep-water blocks through its Production Sharing Agreements with Brunei Petroleum Authority.
