THE DISTRIBUTION OF MINIATURE TABLE FLAGS CEREMONY AND

THE GLORIFICATION OF THE NATIONAL FLAG PROGRAMME

IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRUNEI DARUSSALAM'S 40^TH NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION 2024

The Ministry of Education through the Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Information Department, the Prime Minister's Office today held the Miniature Table Flag Distribution Ceremony and the Glorification of the National Flag Programme for primary schools, Sixth Form Centre, Arabic schools and Higher Education Institutions students in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 40^th National Day Celebration.

This event aims to instill a sense of love and patriotism among students in conjunction with the 40th National Day Anniversary Celebration, Year 2024. A total of approximately 1500 small table flags were distributed to the participants namely teachers and students who will be involved in Brunei Darussalam's 40^th National Day Celebration.

The main event was held at Sekolah Rendah Rataie, Temburong. Present as the Guest of Honour for the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh. Also present at the ceremony was Permanent Secretary and Deputy Permanent Secretary as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Education.

The same ceremony was also held in Brunei Muara District at the Universiti Teknologi Brunei. Present as the Guest of Honour to distribute the miniature table flags was Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Profesor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

In Belait District, the Distribution of Miniature Table Flags Ceremony and the Glorification of the National Flag Programme was held at the Pusat Tingkatan Enam Belait. Present as Guest of Honour at this event was Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Noor Azam bin Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Haji Othman, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Corporate), Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, for Tutong District, the same ceremony was also held at the Brunei Islamic Mahad Islam Brunei Multipurpose Hall, Tutong. Present as the Guest of Honour to distribute the miniature table flags was Yang Mulia Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance), Ministry of Religious Affairs.

MAJLIS PENGAGIHAN BENDERA KECIL MEJA DAN PROGRAM SEMARAK PENGIBARAN BENDERA SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI KEBANGSAAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM KE-40 TAHUN 2024

Hari Khamis, 5 Syaaban 1445 / 15 Februari 2024

Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Jabatan Pendidikan Kokurikulum dengan kerjasama Jabatan Pengajian Islam, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama dan Jabatan Penerangan, Jabatan Perdana Menteri pada hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Pengagihan Bendera Kecil Meja dan Program Semarak Pengibaran Bendera kepada pelajar-pelajar Sekolah Rendah, Pusat Tingkatan Enam, Sekolah Arab dan Institusi Pengajian Tinggi bersempena dengan Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-40, Tahun 2024.

Majlis ini bertujuan untuk menyemai rasa kecintaan dan semangat patriotisme di kalangan pelajar bersempena dengan Sambutan Ulang Tahun Hari Kebangsaan Ke-40, Tahun 2024. Majlis ini diadakan secara serentak di keempat-empat daerah. Sebanyak lebih kurang 1500 bendera kecil meja telah diagihkan kepada para peserta yang terdiri daripada guru dan pelajar yang akan terlibat dalam Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam Ke-40, Tahun 2024.

Tumpuan utama bagi majlis ini berlangsung di Sekolah Rendah Rataie, Temburong. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi Majlis ini ialah Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Menteri Pendidikan. Turut hadir ialah Setiausaha Tetap dan Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap serta pegawai-pegawai kanan dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan.

Majlis yang sama juga diadakan bagi Daerah Brunei dan Muara yang diadakan di Universiti Teknologi Brunei. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan seterusnya menyempurnakan pengagihan bendera kecil meja ialah Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Profesor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Naib Canselor Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

Manakala di Daerah Belait, Majlis Pengagihan Bendera Kecil dan Program Semarak Pengibaran Bendera telah diadakan di Pusat Tingkatan Enam Belait. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada acara ini ialah Yang Mulia Profesor Dr. Noor Azam bin Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Haji Othman, Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Korporat), Kementerian Pendidikan.

Sementara itu, bagi Daerah Tutong, majlis yang sama juga diadakan di Dewan Serbaguna Mahad Islam Brunei, Tutong. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan seterusnya menyempurnakan pengagihan bendera kecil meja ialah Yang Mulia Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Pentadbiran dan Kewangan), Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama.
